Khione is a Nymph of mount Haimos in Thrake which is just north of Greece born to the god of the north wind Boreas and Oreithyia the lady of the mountain Gales. Khione was believed to be the Goddess of snow and ice and a mother to Eumolpus which she had with her Lover Poseidon it was this event that triggered her to throw the boy into the deep sea to prevent her family from knowing of her pregnancy. she is also revealed to be the sister of Cleopatra in Media Khione was used as a name for Killer frost when Caitlin's farther Thomas created her to prevent his daughter from suffering ALS.
