when I think about the word love sick I think of falling in love with someone that has the potential to either give you really bad tingles up the back or severe butterflies in the stomach but here is the question that everyone want's answered can you actually get sick when your in love the answer is simple YES YOU CAN the internet's definition of love sickness basically means that your in love or missing the person that you love so much that you are unable to act normal even though this is true I think you can act normal even though it's going to be hard at first

after doing a lot of research according to the Wikipedia love can be a mental illness scientific study's have shown that a drug and certain brain chemicals can make really high feelings of love it is also said that love sickness is not just an expression but an actual illness it's very real and I didn't know it was actually a thing. a researcher named frank Tallis has explained that for people who are truly madly deeply in love should be looked at by medical professionals he even made a list of all the symptoms that can make you love sick these include.

  •                              Mania - an abnormally elevated mood or inflated self-esteem
  •                                          Depression, hopelessness, or helplessness
  •                                                                   Nausea
  •                                                               Tearfulness
  •                                               Insomnia, which may lead to fatigue
  •                                                         Lack of concentration
  •                                                Loss of appetite or overeating
  •    Stress - high blood pressure, pain in chest and heart, acute insomnia; sometimes brought on by a "crush"
  •   Psychologically created physical symptoms, such as upset stomach change in appetite, insomnia, dizziness, and confusion
  •                                                             Rapid mood swings

  • some of these symptoms I to experience a lot of the time when I have a crush on someone I just cant get out of my head there is a boy in my life that I just started dating and honestly I feel so happy about it and I don't have to hide my feelings anymore and I'm so relieved I wanted to say something and I have been keeping it for a very long time and one day I said to myself I no longer want to keep what I'm feeling anymore it hurts to much not to so thanks to my best friend the truth is out and I am ready to know what it feels like to fall for someone I loved that was a friend of mine at the very beginning.

to conclude my April entry there is a lot of music and movies that can help you deal with these feelings of love that you have and to tell you the truth it definitely helps me but it's out of my personal interest in them if I am with that person while I am listening to my love playlist I feel so vulnerable and nervous but most of all romantic music is what gets me when I am thinking of someone. even songs that have love sick in the title.
